For the ninth time in her career, The College of Wooster's Carolyn Webster was named to the All-Great Lakes Region team, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday.
Webster earned honors this season for her winning effort in the North Coast Athletic Conference pentathlon. Webster's 3,229 points were just shy of a 500-point clearance over the runner-up score at the event. She logged the top marks in the 60-meter hurdles, high jump, and long jump during the pentathlon competition.
After top-three finishes in the long jump and high jump at last weekend's NCAC Championships, Webster's now a 17-time all-conference performer.
The top five individuals and top three relays in each event earn all-region honors. A total of 1,460 all-region honors were handed out for Div. III indoor track and field.
