Coming off knee surgery at the end of the fall, but should be healthy by time season starts and will compete for starting position at third base and DH … Possesses strong potential offensively as a left-hander with good power … 2012: Performed well when given the opportunity, batting .381 (16-for-42) with five runs,  two doubles, and four RBI during 31 games played (six starts) … Also drew five walks for a .438 on-base percentage … Appeared in both of the Scots’ NCAA Div.
