Katie Kocher, who earned a pair of Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region second-team certificates at nearby Baldwin Wallace University, enters her second season as the assistant women’s lacrosse coach at The College of Woosterin 2019.
Kocher, a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, was one of the key student-athletes in helping the fledging program get off the ground. During her career, Kocher helped the Yellow Jackets to a 46-21 record and three appearances in the OAC Tournament championship game. Primarily an assist specialist, Kocher’s 157 helpers rank as the top mark in the six-year history of the program. An all-around contributor, Kocher logged 171 groundballs, 101 draw controls, 100 caused turnovers, and 63 goals for her career.
Kocher coaching resume includes experience with Ohio Premier Lacrosse, Medina High School, and Force Sports.
Kocher graduated with a bachelor’s in exercise science from Baldwin Wallace.
