Drew Frizell enters his second season as an assistant coach at The College of Wooster.
As a collegiate player, Frizell was a four-year contributor at Defiance College, where he played in 89 games and scored 444 points. Primarily a 3-point specialist, Frizell knocked down 113 trifectas during his career.
A familiar name to those with knowledge of the local high school basketball scene, Frizell was named to the all-Ohio second-team, District IV first-team, and first-team all-Wayne County at nearby Smithville High School while prepping for his father, Jim.
Frizell graduated from Defiance in 2015 with a bachelor’s in sport management. Professionally, Frizell works for Burkey Excavating in Smithville.
