|Title:||Asst. Coach (RB)|
Entering his sixth campaign as Wooster’s running backs coach is Kyle Adams. The former all-North Coast Athletic Conference standout helped Sean Hackel to first-team all-NCAC honors during 2013 via a 1,000-yard rushing season (1,097) – a first for the Fighting Scots since 2006. Most recently he guided Antonio Bailey to a spot on the all-conference team after the junior finished the year with 835 yards, and averaged over 100 yards rushing per game over the second half of the season.
Adams, who also is a managing director/investments at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company in Wooster, was named to Forbes' list of America's Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors last summer. Adams checked in at No. 100 on the 500-advisor list.
As a student-athlete, Adams played collegiately at Ohio Wesleyan University. As a senior team captain in 2008, he was the Battling Bishops’ leading rusher and took honorable mention on the all-NCAC Team.
Originally from the Canton, Ohio, area, Adams graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan. He is active with Wooster Kiwanis Club and is on the board of the local Goodwill Industries, in addition to his coaching and work duties.
